Thank you very much for the wonderful full moon kayak trip - we loved the experience, especially those magical minutes along the glow worm stream.

Absolutely the best thing ever to do on a New year's day, the adventure of a life time began at 7.30pm when we headed on the lake, first timers in a kayak my friend and I, plenty of giggles were heard and left /right, faster, slower, quieter please, just loved the whole experience, what an awesome bunch the three guides were, Scotty, Dee and Kevin. They kept us entertained and trained us well, the waterfall was breath taking at day time and even more challenging going in at night time. The glow worms and the full moon set the whole scene.

Highly recommended for an adventure for a life time, don't miss your chance book today, I will be back.

Just a short email to say how much Bill and I enjoyed last night's kayak experience under the full moon on Lake Karapiro. As an inexperienced kayaker I was impressed with the guides thorough yet unobtrusive checks that everything was OK all the time.

I was a little concerned about the wind on the Lake at first but you and the guides were very reassuring and paddling across to the other side was fine. The kayaks and gear were good quality and we did not get wet - thanks for helping me out of the kayak with my dodgy knee.

It was great seeing the waterfall at dusk then again later in pitch blackness lit with thousands of glow worms. Stunning. I wish I could have taken a photo of them. The experience was everything I hoped it would be and the stop for a break at dusk was a great move.

We had a fantastic time in Scotty's capable care, our family's first time kayaking for my birthday treat. And a wonderful time we had, enjoying the quiet stretches of Lake Karapiro, viewing waterfalls in beautiful sunshine guided by Scott who made us feel confident in the water and shared his knowledge of nature and tips on how the 'how to' of kayaking.

Scott was great, and even supplied a birthday cake to round off our trip!
Must do this again ... moonlight trip next time I think?

Thanks for the great night kayaking on Saturday, I even loved the rain.

The best part for me, given how weary I am of the water, was that I was in a double kayak, I felt very safe. The commentary on the different aspects of the river was enjoyable as well.

I'm very keen for another kayak trip with my children.

Our trip kayaking down the Waikato river with Scotty was a fantastic experience. From the briefing which included very useful tips on using your paddles effectively, to the delicious home-baked food, genuine encouragement, engaging sense of humor and kingfisher calls - it was all great.

It was also an interesting new way for Hamiltonians to see their city as the perspective is totally different. Some of the people in our group had never kayaked before and had such a great time they are talking about coming back for a moonlight trip sometime in the summer.

Kayaking down Waikato River in Hamilton - Recommended Experience!!!!

Scott took us down the Waikato River in a Saturday afternoon and it was great!

The kayaks are clean and new and the paddling is so much easier than I thought!

Scott himself is a great guide, telling us about the river, the bird life and the nature, but also about Hamilton and the city life.

We stopped for a picnic in a little beach with all the structure needed (toilets, etc) and it so nice...

We certainly enjoy and will come back for a Full Moon Light trip!
